Poverty is not a sin- and what each of us can do
The worlds problems exist — poverty, disparity, diseases, deprivation, discrimination and we are all well aware what plagues our world and the humanity. But poverty is by far the most evil of these world issues. Here’s a look at why Poverty is such a unnecessary evil — and how it belittles people and there potential. And that’s not all- there are steps each one of us can take to alleviate this malady of the world.
What is Poverty?
Poverty is a state of being poor. It is when one is deprived of resources and basics of life. It is when the constraints of life take over. It makes it difficult for the person to overcome their constraints and grow. The poor are not able to scale to an altitude or know it. They have to overcome the constraints of their life and basic necessities to be able to grow any further. They cannot scale further from their basic downtrodden life on earth.
Why does Poverty exist on this earth?
Poverty is on this earth for many reasons-
- the rich are depriving the people of themselves and basic resources
- There exists huge disparity between the rich and the poor of the world
- the poverty is very rampant in different part of the world mainly historically
- The poor countries continue to be poor- making it a self defeating prophecy
- The poverty also affects the state of lives and mind- thus making it difficult to scale for the poor
How does Poverty affect lives?
Poverty can make it a struggle for individuals to achieve their full potential. Poverty can deny access to the resources one needs to excel and be their best. Poverty can bring with it other associated maladies.
Poverty does not allow the person to dream beyond their circumstances. It makes it difficult for the people and their families to achieve higher level of education, life and standard of living.
Why poverty is not a fallacy- but a good thing on the earth
Poverty is seen as a necessary evil on earth. This is a fallacy, as poverty need not exist and if it does it is not a bad thing on earth. The poor are born poor and its not their fault.
Therefore each of us can do our bit to alleviate and reduce poverty on this earth and in the world.We can do so by charity, helping people in need, in our own small or big ways and can help people to rise above being poor.Therefore its not an evil , but something to rise above and raise the world above from for a better future for the earth.
